Your Brand, Your Emails

White Label includes two main features:

1. Custom Sending Domain - Send emails from your own domain (e.g., notifications@yourcompany.com) instead of notifications@fieldpad.app.

2. Branding Removal - The "Powered by FieldPad" footer is removed from all notification emails.

DNS propagation typically takes 5-60 minutes. In rare cases with slower DNS providers, it can take up to 48 hours. You can click "Check Verification Status" as many times as you need - there's no limit on verification attempts.

Nothing breaks. Your emails will continue sending from notifications@fieldpad.app until verification is complete. The pending setup remains until you either complete verification or cancel it.

No. Each domain can only be claimed by one organization. The first organization to set up and verify a domain owns it. If you need to transfer a domain to a different organization, you'll need to remove it from the current one first.

Emails will automatically revert to sending from notifications@fieldpad.app. Your domain configuration is preserved, so if you regain White Label access, it will resume using your custom domain without needing to reconfigure.

No. Historical emails retain their original From address. Only future emails will use the new configuration. This applies whether you're adding a custom domain or removing one.

It's optional. Once your custom domain is verified, emails already come FROM your domain, so recipients can reply directly. However, you can still set a separate Reply-To if you want replies going to a different address than your From address (e.g., From: info@yourcompany.com but replies to support@yourcompany.com).

You'll need access to add CNAME records to your domain's DNS settings. This is typically done through:

• Your domain registrar (GoDaddy, Namecheap, Google Domains)
• Your DNS provider (Cloudflare, Route53, DigitalOcean DNS)

If you don't have DNS access, contact your IT department or whoever manages your domain.

Yes! You can use any subdomain like mail.yourcompany.com or notifications.yourcompany.com. Some organizations prefer this to keep their main domain's email reputation separate from automated notifications.

Each custom domain is set up as a separate email identity with its own reputation metrics. This means:

• Your sending behavior (bounces, complaints) only affects your domain
• Other FieldPad customers can't impact your deliverability
• If issues arise, only your domain is affected, not FieldPad's core domain

We monitor bounce and complaint rates to ensure healthy email practices.

All notification emails sent by FieldPad will use your custom domain once verified, including:

• Permit confirmation emails
• Violation notices
• Report submission notifications
• Any automated email from the notification rules system
